When Nordstrom wanted to build a new private label womenswear line, they sought the brand building expertise of Lambesis. Working closely with the department store at every level of development, Lambesis created a dramatic look for the line that defined modern, aspirational style. Lambesis executed a fully integrated style-based strategy to develop the Caslon brand, from creating the brand name, to logo and package design. The Caslon campaign launched to critical acclaim, marked by celebrated print and outdoor advertising that highlighted the brand’s sophistication.

Print portrays Caslon as a mainstream, modern classic brand designed for women’s real lives, but with the aspiration and glamour of a designer brand.

To create awareness in Caslon’s priority markets, the brand established a strong presence in outdoor media, including tall walls and transit shelters.
